Can tell already...

that it's not going to be a good day. I woke up with the same headache that I went to bed with last night. :( I also didn't sleep well, partly because we had a big thunderstorm come through in the middle of the night that woke me up. Walked outside at 6am to leave for work and could already feel the humidity...blech, I so hate that! I'm still having to take medicine that is making me feel sick...nothing like a constant reminder of a bad thing. :( Thankfully I will take my last dose tomorrow morning.

Tyler is participating in a karate camp all week. He seemed to enjoy his first day yesterday and loved his class last night. He could have tested for his first stripe but I think he's still a little shy and nervous about things. I think wants he gets the first one under his belt, he should be okay.

The kids are certainly enjoying the pool...Bekah is like a little fish and you literally have to drag her out at the end of the day to get her to go to bed. Keari is also enjoying it more now that the water has warmed up...she loves to show me her pruny fingers and toes when she gets out now. LOL

Wicked Headache/Interim Grades

And no, my headache wasn't brought on by the grades. LOL Alex's first semester interim grades came out yesterday and so far he's doing great with 4 A's and 3 B's. Two of the are 89 & 88 so very close to being A's. He's having the hardest time in Honors Chemistry right now but I think that's mainly because he hasn't been putting the effort into studying for it. Hopefully getting two failing grades on quizzes will have opened Alex's eyes to the fact that he needs to study more and his grade will improve in that class. Luckily, his teacher decided to throw out the lowest quiz grade so that brought Alex's average from a 65 to and 80.

I think my headache was brought on by the change in weather we've been having. We had a thunderstorm come through last night. I'm guessing it wasn't too severe as none of the kids woke up. My headache is better today...I can at least move my head without it hurting...but I can still feel the ache behind my eyes. Hopefully it doesn't get any worse.

Headache

Whew, I have had the worst headache for most of the day today. It hurt to think so needless to say I didn't accomplish anything today. I started feeling better around dinner time...just about the time that Andy started getting a headache. Hmm, wonder if I gave mine to him somehow. Now I'm waiting for Kearsyn to wake up to eat. She's been sleeping for a long time now and if I'd known she was going to be asleep for this long, I would have gone to bed hours ago. I know if I go to bed now she'll wake up 10 minutes after I lay down but if I stay up she'll probably sleep for another hour or see. I see it as a no win situation. LOL
