Family Pictures

We picked up our family pictures that we have done at our local firehouse each year. They turned out much better than last years. I only have the group shots right now as they did something different with the packages this year (which totally pissed Andy off)...they decided to give other styles of prints besides just color, so some of the pics were in black & white and some were in sephia. They looked great that way except we didn't have all the kids pics in any one style...a couple were color, a couple more were in b&w and the rest in sephia...makes for an odd looking collection when you put them all together. So we ended up having to order the kids that weren't in color but here is our full family pic and one of all the kids together. Poor Adam looks likes he breaking his neck in the all kids one. Luckily he was asleep and really didn't care. LOL

Busy, Chilly Weekend

Of all weekends for it to turn chilly, it would be this weekend. Andy and the kids had two soccer parties scheduled for this weekend and of course they are outdoor parties because they always do a parents/kids soccer game. The chilly weather didn't deter them and they had a great time at both parties. Connor & Kenzie's party was on Saturday and Alex's party was today.




Saturday was also pick up day for our family pictures and they turned out great, if I do say so myself. They always do such a good job both with the group shots and with the individual pictures. Getting 9 people to look at the camera at the same time and keep their eyes open is not small feat. Here is our Christmas picture for this year.





On Friday, Connor, Kenzie & Tyler got to play a little bit at one of the stores in the area. There piano teacher was providing background music for the evening and had invited his students to stop by and play a few songs. It was fun for the kids even though there are alot of distractions playing in that type of environment.



Today is the first day of Advent and Tyler got to do the honors of lighting the first candle.






And here's picture of Kearsyn smiling. =) She has her two month check up tomorrow and she's due to get lots of shots so I don't expect alot of smiling tomorrow. Poor baby.

Picture Day

We had our family pictures taken today. That's always an adventure. It took us about an hour and 40 minutes from the time we signed in to when we went back to get our pictures done. We can't really complain though as the guy who takes the pictures is fabulous, they don't charge a sitting fee (which for us would be enormous) and since it's done through our local fire house, part of the proceeds from the pictures goes to them. I just hope I didn't mess them up because for some reason the kids were cracking me up this year and I spent more time watching them than I did watching the photographer. He kept having to tell me to look at the camera. Oops! LOL Guess we'll find out when we go to pick them up in two weeks.

I'm thinking there was something else I wanted to talk about but it's escaping me right now. If I think of it I'll come back and update but for now I'm off to bed...or not since Kearsyn just woke up. Guess I'll go feed her instead. ;)

I remembered what else it was that I wanted to say...I can fit into a pair of my pre-pregnancy jeans. I was looking for something to wear for the picture today and tried them on basically as a lark thinking there was no way I'd fit into them as I still have 15lbs to lose but to my surprise they actually fit. Yay!
