Dreary Day
After the beautiful weather we've been experiencing the last couple of days, today was a complete shot to the system as it was downright chilly today. In addition to that, it was rainy, windy and dreary all day. Would have been a nice day to curl up by the fireplace if we had a fireplace. Instead I just stayed inside and was a total bum. When I wasn't taking care of the baby, I was working on my ornament for exchange or reading a book. The kids, on the other hand, were having a great time running around outside in the rain and wind and it's still blowing like crazy outside. Right now the wind is a pretty constant 20 mph and was up to 36 mph at some point today. Anyway, I just got the baby to sleep so I'm off to get a couple hours of sleep, hopefully, before she wakes up again. Maybe by then, the wind will have calmed down. I hate the way it howls around the house.

It is supposed to rain all week here! I just want to curl up on the couch with some hot cocoa, a few cats, a good movie, and my cross stitch :)
Very cool blog. I just discovered it when you commented on mine. Thanks for visiting mine and I hope the weather straightens up for you this week. Still cold here but at least the sun is out!

I like the dreary weather. It keeps me from feeling guilty for not spending more time outside LOL! Although I'm with you. Wish I had a fireplace.
A Winnie the Pooh day!
I don't like days like this.. It makes me so lazy. The kids never seem to mind the weather changes though.
can't wait to see your stitching updates
I hope that you had a good nap! Dreary here again today.
Yep, it sure was a day yesterday lol ;). An excellent day for tea and a book or stitching though :). ((hugs))
We are going to get much needed rain the next couple days! praise the Lord it should help our drought!
Dreary weather is good for staying in the house and doing any of the following:
1) reading a book
2) sipping hot choco
3) playing board games
4) watching cheesy films
5) cuddling
